Computers for Change helps people repair, reuse, upgrade, and responsibly recycle technology. For 16 years we have been locally owned and operated at the same spot on College Street.

We promote positive change in the community through affordable laptops, eCycling, and computer donations. Everything is done online these days, from job hunting to housing, and we help level the playing field with affordable, reliable refurbished computers. We are small enough that you talk to the same people every time you come in. The shop is Sam, Brett, and one other team member; Sam and Brett have both been here from the beginning.

Most days the team works on a steady stream of Mac and PC laptops and desktops. Most repairs are same day or next business day, and most start at $99 plus parts.

We sit in the heart of downtown Burlington on College Street, an easy stop for students walking from UVM or Champlain, a quick stop for office workers from City Hall and the courthouse, and a short drive from anywhere in Chittenden County. The map and hours are on our contact page.
