We come to you for tech help
Sixteen years of helping people with their technology, now in your home or small office. Setup, troubleshooting, organizing, backups, and patient one-on-one help, on your schedule.
From setup to sorting it all out
Whatever is frustrating you about your tech, we can usually help. The point of the visit is to make your setup work the way you want it to, not to sell you anything you do not need.
Setup and migration
New computer, tablet, phone, printer, or internet setup. We can mirror your old computer onto a new one and sync your devices so everything just works.
Files, backups, and the cloud
Organize files and folders, install programs, back up your data, and get the cloud working across your devices. Photos in one place. Documents where you expect them.
Help and instruction
Patient, one-on-one help: security and passwords, useful features, video calls, and answers to the questions that keep coming up.
Wifi and network
Wifi setup, slow network troubleshooting, mesh systems, and the right router for your space.
Small office tech
Shared printers, file sharing, multiple monitors, video meeting setup, and getting the office running without a full-time IT person.
Cleanup and tune-up
Slow computer in your living room? We can speed it up on site, clear out unused programs, and give it a once-over.
Simple and on your schedule

We come to you
First hour is $120 and includes travel within 15 minutes of Burlington. Farther than that is no problem; we just add a travel fee for the extra distance.
Work through your list
After the first hour it is $100 per hour in 15-minute steps. We recommend keeping sessions under three hours, since most people are ready for a break by then.
A little prep goes a long way
Visits work best when both sides are ready. Spend a few minutes ahead of time and we will get more done together.
Common questions
What does a visit cost?
First hour is $120, which includes travel within 15 minutes of Burlington (so $100 of labor plus a $20 travel allowance). After that, $100 per hour billed in 15-minute steps. One-hour minimum.
How far do you travel?
We are happy to travel well beyond Burlington. The first hour at $120 covers travel within about 15 minutes; past that we add a travel fee for the extra distance. A shop drop-off is always the cheaper option if that works for you.
Do you do business or just home visits?
Both. Small offices and home offices are common. For larger ongoing IT needs we will be honest if a full IT firm is a better fit.
Can you bring parts or a new computer?
Sometimes. For most repairs that need parts, dropping the device at the shop is faster and cheaper. For setup of a new computer or accessory you already have, a visit usually makes sense.
Is the first hour really the full hour?
Yes. If your list takes 20 minutes, you still pay the one-hour minimum. We will use the rest of the time on anything else you want to tackle.
Do I have to be there the whole time?
It depends on the work. For setup, instruction, and troubleshooting we usually need you, since passwords and decisions come up. For installs and updates you can often leave us to it.
