MacBook Models We Service

MacBook repair can vary significantly between generations, so we start by identifying your specific model and understanding the problem. We work on many Intel-based and Apple silicon MacBooks, depending on the repair and availability of compatible parts.

MacBook Air

We service Intel, M1, M2, and newer MacBook Air models, including battery problems, screen damage, charging issues, storage concerns, and performance problems.

MacBook Pro

We repair many 13-inch, 14-inch, 15-inch, and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, from older Intel systems to newer Apple silicon devices.

Older MacBooks

Older MacBooks may still have plenty of useful life left. Depending on the model and available parts, a battery replacement, storage upgrade, or other repair may improve performance and extend the life of the computer.

MacBook Repair Services

Every MacBook repair starts with identifying what’s causing the problem. We’ll assess the computer, determine what may be wrong, and recommend the most practical solution based on the model, age, condition, and available repair options.

MacBook Battery Replacement

If your battery drains quickly, won’t hold a charge, or displays a service warning, we can replace batteries on many MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models. Pricing and repair procedures vary by model, particularly between older MacBooks and newer systems with more integrated components.

MacBook Screen Repair

We repair damaged MacBook displays, including cracked screens, LCD problems, flickering, backlight issues, and other display problems on supported models. Depending on the MacBook, the repair may involve replacing the display assembly rather than an individual screen component. We’ll explain what’s required before work begins.

Storage & Data Recovery

We provide storage troubleshooting, SSD upgrades on compatible MacBook models, and data recovery or transfer options when a MacBook won’t boot or has experienced storage failure. We’ll assess the condition of the storage and explain what’s possible before proceeding.

Slow MacBook Performance

A slow MacBook may have a storage, software, memory, or operating system issue. We can troubleshoot the cause and recommend software cleanup, macOS services, storage upgrades, or other performance improvements where appropriate.

Keyboard & Trackpad Repairs

We repair supported MacBook keyboard and trackpad problems, including sticky or unresponsive keys, faulty keyboards, and trackpad issues.

Repair availability depends on the specific MacBook model and the condition of the affected components.

Liquid Damage Assessment

Spilled coffee, water exposure, and other liquid damage don’t always mean a MacBook is beyond repair. We’ll inspect the device, assess the visible symptoms and damage, and explain whether repair appears practical before you decide how to proceed.

MacBook Models We Service

If your MacBook is slow, you may not need to replace it. Depending on the model, targeted upgrades or software services can improve responsiveness and extend the useful life of the computer.

Storage Cleanup

A nearly full drive can make it harder to manage files, applications, and system updates. We can help identify unnecessary files and storage problems that may be contributing to poor performance.

SSD Upgrades for Compatible Models

Some older MacBook models support storage upgrades that can improve startup times, application loading, and everyday responsiveness.

We’ll check your specific model before recommending an upgrade because newer MacBooks may have integrated storage that cannot be replaced in the same way.

macOS Cleanup & Troubleshooting

Software problems, unnecessary startup applications, storage issues, and macOS problems can all affect performance. We can troubleshoot the software side of the computer and reinstall macOS when appropriate.

Is Your MacBook Worth Repairing?

Is Your MacBook Worth Repairing?

Not every MacBook needs to be replaced when something goes wrong. A battery replacement, storage upgrade, or other repair may cost considerably less than purchasing a new computer.

However, an expensive repair on an older MacBook may not make financial sense. If that’s the case, we’ll tell you and help you compare the repair with refurbished replacement options.

If you purchase a qualifying refurbished computer from us, data transfer is available for $60 with your purchase.

MacBook Repair FAQs

Can You Replace a MacBook Battery?

Yes. On older models held in with screws, it is a $99 plus parts job. On newer Air and Pro models with glued-in batteries, it takes more work and costs more. We quote in person.

Can You Repair a Cracked MacBook Screen?

Yes on most models. Pricing depends on whether it is a straightforward swap or a full display assembly. Bring it in for a quote. Some newer models have the display fused to the lid; those cost more.

My MacBook Is Running Slowly. Can You Speed It Up?

Often a lot. Storage cleanup, removing startup clutter, and on older MacBooks an SSD upgrade can make it feel new again. On newer Apple silicon MacBooks (M1, M2, M3), slowdowns are more often a specific app or process; we can find and fix it.

Will I Lose My Data During the Repair?

No. We do not touch your data unless you ask us to. If a repair could put your data at risk we will tell you, but backing up is a paid add-on and is otherwise on you before drop-off.

What If My MacBook Isn’t Worth Repairing?

You can put it toward a refurbished MacBook from our shelves and we will move your data over the same day. The trade-up often costs less than the repair would have.

Do You Repair Liquid-Damaged MacBooks?

We assess them. Some are recoverable, especially after a quick rinse and cleanup. Some are not. We will give you a straight answer before any work begins, and only charge a bench fee if the fix is not possible.

How Long Do Most MacBook Repairs Take?

Most repairs are same day or next business day when the parts are in stock. Diagnostics typically take 24 to 48 hours depending on the device. Battery and SSD swaps are usually same day. Screen replacements that require ordered parts may take a few days.

Do You Work on M1, M2, and Newer Apple Silicon MacBooks?

Yes for software, storage cleanup, and data recovery. The hardware on Apple silicon MacBooks is largely glued together; some hardware repairs are not economical on those models, and we will tell you straight when that is the case.
